Our road location was near to the coastal dunes and gave a distinctive flair to our footage. Even though the road was still in use, an isolated view emanated from the sand that had blown across it. This was well suited to the context of our footage. It is one of our favourite road locations to use!
We worked with some secluded gravel road locations and they completely fulfilled our brief. The environment and landscapes were withered and dry with many shades of brown and greens meshed into one another. I would recommend these road locations to highlight an outdoor gear or clothing range. It certainly created a “hiking in the outback” outline for our shoot. We loved it!
The road location we used had a variety of natural beauty around it to bring the road from just a simple one to a scenic one. There was a body of water beneath it and surrounding mountain ranges to provide contrasting backgrounds. This gave us options when it came to deciding the final products.
