The urban city locations that Cape Town has to offer brings a whole unique flair to a “concrete jungle” shoot. I needed vibrant colours and a local atmosphere with a cultural background. YLO and the team introduced us to an area called the Bo – Kaap and this ticked every box! From its old buildings to the colour flairs in every shot, my work oozed with cultural, vibrant energy. A location that truly stands out from the rest.
We were looking for an urban city location where we could highlight a young generation with vibrant energy for our product launch. These locations offered many diverse options in and around the city. Our team opted for a location in the heart of all the bustle and the YLO team coordinated all the legalities effortlessly. In these locations the buildings, along with the bustling atmosphere, brought enticing characteristics to the shots.

I had an array of colourful, art covered walls, stairs of all different levels and plain or colourful buildings. Everything I envisioned, the locations brought to life!
